A Revolutionary Thought…

Last night, 10/14, I received an email from a concerned Brother, and have posted it here:

Brother Mills,

I hope all is well. We had the pleasure of meeting this past summer while I was a student at the Leadership Academy in Baltimore. I’d like to thank you and Delta Lambda, once again, for hosting us.

I just finished reading the letter you sent me, outlining your candidacy for Eastern Region VP and asking for my support (and the support of my chapter). To keep my chapter informed I will read your letter in our chapter meeting this evening. But frankly, I’m not sure if I can (personally) support you just yet. Your letter quotes one of our Jewels, Brother Ogle, saying: “…let nothing shake your love for the fraternity and its ideas…”

I must say that the current state of our Fraternity is shaking my love. And I am certain that business as usual will not help in the matter. I am urging you NOT to carry out business as usual. My article addresses brotherly relations in the Fraternity, the current state of which is shaking my love. I hope that you will address this issue at length in your campaign, and that you will expand upon it in the Fraternity portion of your campaign platform. In a word, I need you to be: revolutionary.
