A Mills Motivation for the Morning

“You will become way less concerned with what other people think of you when you realise how seldom they do.”

Often times we look for validation in what another says – whether a loved one, friend or foe. In doing so we neglect our natural tendency for self-preservation.

Ask yourself, when the chips are really down, on who can I depend?

No one cares about you more than you. We have to #TameTheBeast on a daily basis. Who’s the Beast? Self-doubt. Self-hate. Depression. Uncertainty. Second guessing yourself. Depending on others for your happiness.

Another’s opinion of you should have little impact on your life. Make decisions for you. If you don’t have a relationship with “The Father,” develop one. Pray daily for the ability to self-motivate. Ask for divine guidance in all decision-making. We fall short, but we also have the ability to begin anew. Take on the task of motivating yourself on a daily basis.
